Duvan Souza

Duvan Souza is an experienced football coach and former professional player with a career spanning more than 25 years in South America and Canada. As a professional player, Duvan competed with clubs in Brazil and Costa Rica, including ABC RN, Fluminense, Atlético Catarinense, Fortaleza, Duque de Caxias, Porto Alegre, Corintians de Caicó, Club Deportivo El Dragón, Deportivo Ramonense, and ACBC – Atlético Club British Columbia.  Following his playing career, Duvan transitioned into coaching, where he has spent over a decade developing players of all ages and abilities. His coaching experience includes leading youth and adult teams with Street Ball FC, Cliff Avenue FC (U15 Boys), Penticton Pinnacles FC (U14 Boys), and Inter EDC FC. One of his notable achievements was coaching Street Ball FC to a championship at the prestigious Gothia Cup in Sweden, one of the world's largest international youth football tournaments.

Duvan holds FIFA C, B, and A coaching licences, earned through the Argentine ATFA coaching program. He has also completed the Canadian Soccer Association's Soccer for Life certification, combining international coaching education with the Canadian player development model.  Known for his passion for player development, technical expertise, and commitment to fostering a positive learning environment, Duvan is dedicated to helping athletes reach their full potential while promoting teamwork, discipline, and a lifelong love of the game.
